SOCCER ACADEMY
Established since 2001 our Soccer Academy is open to boys and girls aged 4 – 11 years and operates at several venues around the area.
The coaching programme has been developed to cater for not only those children who posses natural ability, but also those who perhaps have not enjoyed or had difficulty with physical activity. All we ask for is enthusiasm, commitment, a positive attitude and the desire to be coached football in a fun, positive, creative environment.
Our team of F.A. qualified coaches aim to provide young players with coaching based around a philosophy of having fun, gaining confidence and achieving technical competence before moving to tactics or game play.
Our players work through ball exercises and drills designed to refine and improve both basic and complex skills. This ensures that we continue to challenge even the best whilst catering for those who just simply want to take part and have fun.
We believe that through attending our Soccer Academy, boys and girls can develop into positive, confident individuals as well as technically proficient footballers.

LINKS TO
LOCAL CLUBS
Over the years we have developed many links with the local junior and professional football clubs within the area. Through these links we aim to offer all our young players,
where possible, the opportunity to continue their development by joining teams at various ages.
Representatives from many of these clubs often visit our coaching sessions seeking players for various ages.
Over the past three years we have seen over 50 young players leave our soccer schools and successfully join local clubs competing in the Russell Foster Youth leagues,
as well as several who have joined the academy assessment centres at Sunderland Football Club and one who is currently involved at Under 15 level with Middlesbrough F.C.
